'Exposed as the monster he is'
A 'monster' child rapist from Dover has been jailed after more than a decade of sick abuse Kent Live July 28, 2017
MARION COUNTY, Iowa – A Van Meter man has admitted to sexually abusing a child in Pella in 2016.
Justin Nolan was originally charged with second degree sexual abuse for forcing a five-year-old girl to perform oral sex on him between July and September of 2016. The girl told investigators Nolan offered her candy to perform the act.
When investigators contacted Nolan he claimed he was under the influence of drugs and alcohol and did not remember the incident.
Online court records show Nolan is now pleading guilty to two counts of lascivious acts with a child. His sentencing has been scheduled for August 31st.
A man has been jailed for 12 years after being found guilty of raping and attempted to rape a child.
Gary Collins, 56, of Weald Lane, Harrow, was sentenced following a three-day trial at Ipswich Crown Court.
He received 12 year sentences for rape and attempted rape, three year sentences for two counts of assaulting a child under 13 and one count of sexual activity with a child and six year sentences for two counts of sexual activity with a child, all to run concurrently.
Collins had previously pleaded not guilty to the offences at Ipswich Crown Court on December 6, 2016.
Police received reports in September 2014 that Collins had sexually abused a child in Colchester over a period of three years between 2011 and 2014. He was voluntarily interviewed and later charged.
Collins raped and abused a vulnerable and innocent child over a number of years. He then pleaded that he was not guilty throughout the case, causing his victim to relive the abuse they suffered through the courts. I would like to praise the victim and their family for their courage in bringing Collins to justice. I hope this verdict provides some solace to them. Essex Police is committed to finding offenders and putting them before the courts. Collins will now have time to think about his actions in his prison cell.
