YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Youngstown man already in prison for a sex crime has been ordered to serve multiple life sentences for raping little girls.
Mahoning County Common Pleas Court Judge Lou D'Apolito has sentenced 34-year-old Tshombe Miller on Wednesday to four consecutive life sentences plus another 49 years in prison.
Mahoning County Assistant Prosecutor Jen McLaughlin tells 21 News that Miller would not be eligible for 89 years, at which time he would be 123 years old.
Miller was convicted earlier on 20 counts of rape and one count of gross sexual imposition.
According to an indictment handed up by the Mahoning County Grand Jury, Miller repeatedly raped two young girls.
Investigators say one of the girls was only 12 when the assaults began, and the crimes continued for nearly one and a half years.
The other victim was only 10-years-old when the rapes began in 2011 and continued for more than four years.
At the time of his indictment, Miller was already serving a one-year prison sentence for a previous conviction for gross sexual imposition.
Miller was already a Tier One sex offender. As part of his sentence, he must now register as a tier three sex offender.
